My name is Ashley Cowgill, and I am a seasoned interior designer specializing in commercial and hospitality environments. With over 16 years of experience, I bring expertise in creating spaces that seamlessly blend functionality, aesthetics, and brand identity. My approach is rooted in a deep understanding of design principles, space planning, and materiality, enabling me to craft environments that not only meet clients’ practical needs but also elevate the user experience. Whether designing offices, sports facilities, restaurants, hospitals, or residential spaces, my goal is to deliver solutions that are welcoming, efficient, and aligned with each client’s vision.

My professional journey began at Vocon, where I spent 10 years developing a strong foundation in commercial design. I then transitioned to Cleveland Clinic, reporting directly to the Chief Design Officer and leading strategic initiatives for five years. During this time, I contributed to landmark projects such as the award-winning Hillcrest Cancer Center Expansion, Mentor Hospital, and Cleveland Clinic’s Administrative Space in London. I also played a key role in restructuring the administrative campus, which resulted in a reduction of nearly one million square feet of real estate.

From there, I joined Mathias Collective, a Nashville-based firm, where I focused on high-profile projects, including designing administrative spaces, clubs, and lounges for the Cleveland Browns and Columbus Crew. Additionally, I had the privilege of designing the Sony Music Publishing office on Music Row in Nashville.
