The Mercantile

I first met Tricia and Bruno three years ago when they were exploring the renovation of an old hair salon. We worked through several design iterations, trying to make the existing building work for their vision, but ultimately the space couldn't support the program they had in mind.

Fast forward to 2025, they made the decision to start fresh—demolishing the existing structure and building their dream café, The Mercantile.

Tricia came to me with a collection of ideas, and together we transformed them into a space that reflects their vision and passion. With Bruno serving as the general contractor, the project benefited from a hands-on approach that ensured every detail was thoughtfully executed from concept through construction. From custom-designed millwork and carefully curated furnishings to thoughtfully selected lighting and finishes, every element was intentionally considered.

Watching the dream evolve from sketches and conversations into a vibrant, welcoming destination has been incredibly rewarding. I'm grateful to have been part of bringing The Mercantile to life.
